According to a report by AS, Harry Kane will ask Daniel Levy to sell him this summer if Tottenham’s fortunes don’t change.
The London outfit are going through something of a rough patch at the moment, and while they are in a Carabao Cup final, it doesn’t look like they’re in a position to challenge for any major honours.
AS claim that if things don’t pick up, Kane will ask Levy to allow him to leave the club.
Of course, Kane leaving Tottenham would be an absolute disaster, and no matter how much money they get for their star man, they will surely struggle to replace him.
Kane is reportedly tired of seeing other strikers flourishing in Europe and winning trophy after trophy, while Kane has never had the chance to wear a winner’s medal around his neck.
Whether or not this report is reliable remains to be seen, but AS is one of Spain’s biggest and most reliable outlets, so there may well be something in this.

Kane asking to leave and being allowed to go are also two very different things, he’s under contract until 2024 at Tottenham, and in this post-pandemic market, many clubs will struggle to pay the reported €170m (£150m) price tag set on his head.
The thought of Kane leaving Spurs is enough to send shivers up any supporter’s spine, but this looks like it’s a situation that’s worth keeping an eye on in the coming months.
