Fans react to the lyric

Several social media users have reacted to Pooh Shiesty’s single, with some saying that they found the Kobe line disrespectful.

One Twitter user wrote: “Pooh Shiesty made a Kobe bar too and not a soul has spoke on it.”

Another person said: “I agree with a lot of people that Pooh Shiesty got away with that Kobe line. Because Meek is the one who’s getting a lot of flack, and the song is unreleased.”

Someone else reacted: “I never knew that Pooh Shiesty made a comment about Kobe as well.”

Pooh Shiesty’s lyric has gone viral now following the backlash over Meek Mill and Lil Baby’s unreleased single.

Vanessa Bryant responds to Meek Mill’s lyric

Kobe’s wife Vanessa Bryant has since responded to Meek Mill’s lyric following criticism from fans. Posting a screenshot of the lyrics to her Instagram story, she wrote:

“Dear @MeekMill, I find this line to be extremely insensitive and disrespectful, Period. I am not familiar with any of your music, but I believe you can do better than this. If you are a fan, fine, there’s a better way to show your admiration for my husband. This lacks respect and tact.”

Meek tweeted a bit later, saying that he has apologised to Vanessa. He explained: “I apologized to her in private earlier today not to the public…Nothing I say on my page directed to an internet viral moment or the family of a grieving woman! If you care about someone grieving change the subject!”
