Some Tottenham fans on social media have been reacting to The Telegraph’s report about Jose Mourinho’s future and his potential successor at Tottenham.
The Telegraph are reporting that Mourinho has four games to save his job, and that if he is unable to turn things around at Tottenham, they will target Julian Nagelsmann.
Nagelsmann is one of the most exciting young coaches in Europe, he’s been something of a revelation in Germany with both Hoffenheim and RB Leipzig and he’s garnered quite a reputation, despite only being 33 years old.
An Apology To Jesse Lingard… (And Moyes).
As you can probably imagine, Spurs fans were rather excited about this report.

Indeed, supporters on social media were quick to call for him to be appointed in the very near future.
These Spurs fans may be excited about Nagelsmann, but this may also be just a bi-product of their frustrations with Mourinho, either way, it’s clear that this is a managerial change that a number of supporters would get behind.
It remains to be seen how Mourinho gets on in his next four games, but we have to feel that they’re amongst the most important matches of his career.
Here’s what Spurs fans have been saying on social media…
