Vanessa Bryant responds to Meek Mill

Vanessa Bryant took to Instagram to have her own say on the lyrics. Posting a screenshot of the lyrics to her Instagram story, she added the text:

“Dear @MeekMill, I find this line to be extremely insensitive and disrespectful, Period. I am not familiar with any of your music, but I believe you can do better than this. If you are a fan, fine, there’s a better way to show your admiration for my husband. This lacks respect and tact.”

Meek Mill responded to the drama

Less than an hour after Vanessa Bryant posted her story, Meek tweeted two very cryptic messages, which many took to be an indirect. However, the rapper later confirmed that none of his tweets were in reference to the drama.

“I be looking at the net laughing like I did what? I say random s*** all day on socials,” he wrote.

The rapper also confirmed that he has apologised to Vanessa Bryant privately aswell: “I apologized to her in private earlier today not to the public…Nothing I say on my page directed to a internet viral moment or the family of a grieving woman! If you care about someone grieving change the subject!”
