Leeds United fans on Twitter have expressed their worries and fears because they will be without Kalvin Phillips and Rodrigo for today’s clash against Southampton.

Both are crucial members of Bielsa’s starting XI, especially their rock in the middle, Phillips.

Whether Phillips’ absence is still injury-related or he is still absent for personal issues is unknown, but Bielsa shared in Monday’s press conference that he, along with Rodrigo, won’t be playing today.

The Whites have lost back-to-back matches without their boyhood fan, so it’s understandable that there is some concern that they will fall the same way today.

Leeds did prove this season – against Aston Villa – that they can win without Phillips, but just like Villa’s own star play, Jack Grealish, they understand how valuable their own is and how impactful it can be without them.

Today will be an even tougher test than the previous two assignments because the Saints are a team heading towards trouble.

Ralph Hasenhüttl’s side have conceded 16 goals from their last five Premier League matches, so other than offside hitting Patrick Bamford in the face again, he’ll know this is his best chance in getting on the scoresheet again.

Nonetheless, here is a selection of Leeds fans reacting to the news coming from Elland Road about Phillips and Rodrigo:
