Comedians Yannis Pappas and Chris Distefano are successful in their own careers and their weekly podcast History Hyenas has become a huge hit since its launch.

Sadly though, there have been rumours that the podcast is coming to an end and many fans are pretty gutted about it.

Is History Hyenas ending?

Yes, History Hyenas is coming to an end.

Yannis confirmed the sad news to his Twitter followers back in January after speculations emerged about the podcast’s fate. He tweeted:

“The rumors are true, History Hyenas has three more episodes and then it is over. I know it seems strange and sudden and I know it’s sad for our fans. I want to thank the fans, you are everything. I hope you continue to enjoy Chris on Hey Babe and his new show on True TV and more.”

In another Twitter post, Chris said “it’s all love” and teased that he and Chris “will ride again” at some point in the future.

Why is History Hyenas ending?

Yannis and Chris revealed that they will explain why they are ending History Hyenas in the podcast’s last episode.

But it’s safe to say that a lot of fans are sad about the news and they took to Twitter to say that they are gutted the podcast is coming to an end.

One person tweeted: “Just found out @HistoryHyenas is ending and I don’t know what I’m going to do with myself on Wednesdays.”

Another one said: “Because of History Hyenas, I got into some of my favorite comedians and met some of the nicest people ever. I’m excited to see what is next for Chris and Yannis, but this one hard ending to a chapter.”

Someone else reacted: “I’m still legit upset about @HistoryHyenas ending.”

What’s next for Yannis and Chris?

Yannis will continue hosting his own podcast called Long Days which is available to listen to and watch on YouTube.

Moreover, he will be performing at SoulJoel’s Comedy Club and Lounge on March 13th.
