West Ham fans have taken to Twitter to react after something that Pablo Fornals did against Tottenham was brought to their attention.
How an off the ball run played a major role in West Ham's first goal? – Analysis pic.twitter.com/ZCXpbnwUVg

An in-depth football account on Twitter analysed the move which saw Michail Antonio open the scoring against Spurs, and it covers Fornals in a good light.
The £24 million man is highlighted as Jarrod Bowen is about to whip a cross into the box. He’s standing just behind Antonio as West Ham’s No.30 is sandwiched between Eric Dier and Japhet Tanganga.

Then, we can see Fornals make a run to the near post, which takes Dier away from being goal-side of Antonio.
After that run is made, Tanganga is then on the wrong side of the former Nottingham Forest man, leaving him free to score in the 5th minute on Sunday.

Seeing as Fornals didn’t actually touch the ball in the build-up, his actions won’t have caught the eye of many.
However, without the Spaniard’s movement, the goal probably doesn’t happen as Dier had Antonio right where he wanted him.
It was a clever bit of play from the former Villarreal maestro, and one that the West Ham fans on Twitter are very impressed by.
Let’s see what they’ve been saying about Fornals and his crafty movement…

Wasn’t mentioned enough. Easy to say that Dier was poor, but Fornals run pulled him out of position and made the goal. Quality 👏 https://t.co/Ldo9rkV1VB

Despite @pablofornals not starting a few games before Spurs, he played a pivotal role in the first goal and got the assist for the second.
