The £15 million Tottenham midfielder (Guardian) only joined the club in the summer, but he has quickly become a key player for Jose Mourinho’s side.

The former Southampton man has been a consistent performer and it is clear to see that he is a real leader of the group already.

And Tottenham fans were pleased to see one of their players taking accountability for the recent run of defeats.

Spurs’s younger players may be looking towards Hojbjerg to help guide them through a difficult period right now.

Tottenham are currently in ninth place in the Premier League table and they are under severe pressure to win their next domestic game, which comes against Burnley on Sunday.
