Some Arsenal fans on Twitter agreed with Yannick Bolasie about manager Mikel Arteta’s decision regarding Gabriel Martinelli against Manchester City at the weekend.
Arsenal suffered a 1-0 defeat to City at the Emirates Stadium in North London in the Premier League on Sunday.
Martinelli was an unused substitute, and Bolasie – on loan at Middlesbrough from Everton at the moment – was baffled why Arteta did not bring him on, as shown below.

Some Arsenal fans agreed with the the 31-year-old winger’s suggestion that the 19-year-old Brazilian forward should have come on as a substitute against Pep Guardiola’s City.

Martinelli has recovered from his injury and is now fit and available, but the Brazilian does not seem to get the chance at the moment
According to Transfermarkt.co.uk, the 19-year-old has been an unused substitute for the past four Premier League matches and played just 13 minutes against Benfica in the Europa League last week.
Perhaps it is time for Arsenal manager Arteta to give the teenager a run in the team, or least bring him on with around 30 or so minutes left in matches.
