Arsenal fans think that the time has come for Eddie Nketiah to leave after he was omitted from their squad by Mikel Arteta yesterday.

Nketiah has found game time increasingly hard to come by at Arsenal this season, after initially being a regular in Arteta’s squad at the start of the campaign.

The young striker has now failed to make Arsenal’s bench for their last four Premier League fixtures.

And Gunners supporters feel that his time at the Emirates Stadium is coming to an end.

Football London have suggested that Arsenal would be open to offloading Nketiah in the summer.

Arteta actually fought off interest in the England youth international in January, but it seems that he has slipped further down the pecking order since.

Nketiah has just one Premier League goal in 14 appearances this season, and doubts remain over whether he is ready to lead the line on a regular basis.

If Nketiah is to continue to be left out then his development would surely be better served by moving elsewhere.

The prospect has shown that he is capable of playing senior football, and he could receive regular time if he was to move on.
