‘Incredible’: Even Pep Guardiola has been impressed by Arsenal midfielder

Emile Smith Rowe is a rising star at Arsenal and has been praised by a number of pundits, and now Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has expressed his admiration of the attacking midfielder, as quoted in The Express.

Arsenal will take on City at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday.

Ahead of the match, City manager Guardiola has named three Arsenal players who are brilliant, and one of them is Smith Rowe.

Among those who have recently been impressed by the 20-year-old’s performances for Arsenal are Ray Parlour, Rio Ferdinand, Jack Wilshere and Mesut Ozil.

The Express has quoted Guardiola as saying: “We will have an incredible performance [from Arsenal]. They have an exceptional build-up, they move with many, many sense, all the movements they have for the build-up to the final third.

“The quality for incredible energy, for Smith [Rowe], Saka and Aubameyang, especially with his runs in behind, and all the players that they have in the middle.”

Rising star at Arsenal

Smith Rowe has established himself as the creator-in-chief at Arsenal, and the attacking midfielder’s progress and development over the past few weeks has been very impressive.

The 20-year-old has provided four assists in 10 Premier League matches, and has scored one goal and given two assists in four Europa League games for the Gunners so far this season, according to WhoScored.

Smith Rowe will be a key player for Arsenal in their quest to pick up all three points from their Premier League game against City on Sunday.
