Some Tottenham Hotspur fans on social media are getting very excited about Marcel Lavinier after he was pictured in first-team training ahead of Spurs’ Europa League clash.
The London club have brought four young players into the first-team for their upcoming game against Wolfsberger, with Jose Mourinho confirming that Lavernier and co will be making the trip to Hungary.
As you can probably imagine, the injection of some young blood into the squad has sent the Spurs fanbase into a bit of a frenzy, and one man the supporters are very excited about is Lavinier.
The young right-back joined Tottenham from Chelsea in October, and after a few months of starring for the youth side, he may now be in line for his debut.
Understandably, a young right-back leaving Chelsea has drawn comparisons with Tariq Lamptey, with one Spurs fan claiming that Lavinier could follow in the Brighton full-back’s footsteps, and if he does, Tottenham will have a real player on their hands.
