Zimdancehall star Soul Jah Love has died at the age of 31. He is survived by his former wife known by the stage name Bounty Lisa.
Musician Soul Jah Love has died at Mbuya Dorcas Hospital on Tuesday, February 16th.
His death was confirmed via the musician’s official Twitter page.

Who was Soul Jah Love?
Soul Jah Love, whose real name was Soul Musaka, was an award-winning Zimdancehall artist and songwriter.
He was born on November 22nd, 1989 and grew up in Harare. Since the age of 7, he struggled with diabetes and was hospitalised several times.
Soul Jah Love began singing in high school and got his breakout in the industry with the 2012 single ‘Ndini uya uya’ which topped up local charts for a few weeks. The artist scooped two Zimdancehall Awards for ‘Best Collaboration’ and ‘Best Upcoming Artist’.
One of his recent projects was the single ‘Simudza Gumbo’ which was released by the label Passion Java Records.
Soul Jah Love: Wife
The musician’s former wife is Bounty Lisa who was born Lynette Lisa Musenyi on February 7th, 1993.
She is also a Zimdancehall artist and it’s believed that the two met in the music industry. They worked together and collaborated on several music projects in the past but they split a few years ago.
Bounty Lisa moved onto another relationship following her break up with Soul Jah Love.
Did Soul Jah Love have any children?
Soul Jah Love and Bounty Lisa didn’t have any kids during their marriage. It’s unknown if the Zimdancehall artist had any children from previous relationships.
He had a twin brother named John. He lost his mother when he was a toddler and his father died back in 2005.
