What is the TikTok NBA Filter?

A new filter is going viral on TikTok called the NBA Filter which lets you find out which NBA team will hypothetically draft you. However, it’s also being used as part of the ‘create your NBA team’ challenge.

It’s one of Instagram’s AR filters that lets you play a virtual game on your screen, and when applied, it brings up a bubble above your head that stops when you release the camera button.

Create your team with the NBA Filter Challenge

The filter is taking over TikTok because it’s part of a new NBA Challenge.

People are using the filter to create their NBA team, selecting players from each team for different positions.

All you have to do is write the different positions on the screen (PG, SG, SF, PF and C) and then use the filter to fill them in.
