Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to a report today that there is no ‘exit option’ in Jose Mourinho’s contract.
According to a report from well-known and well-respected journalist David Ornstein in The Athletic published earlier today, there is no ‘break clause’ in the contract that Mourinho signed at Tottenham in November 2019 to become the head coach of the first team.
This means that if Tottenham decide to dismiss the Portuguese now, then they will have to hand him a payout, according to the report.
The report has added that Spurs are not planning to get rid of Mourinho and find a new head coach at the moment.

Tottenham are not playing well at the moment and recent results have also been disappointing.
However, it must be noted that Spurs are still very much in the running for the Premier League top four and have reached the final of the EFL Cup.
Spurs are also in the Europa League and could go on to win the competition. The North London club should stick with Mourinho until the end of the season at least.
