Well, it’s safe to say Oliver Skipp is going to be getting chances at Tottenham Hotspur next season.
There’s no way that the 20-year-old can have the Championship season that he’s having and not be retained in the senior squad next term.
Tottenham loaned Skipp to Norwich City during the summer and he has been simply immense.
City have played 29 league games this season and you need only consider the fact that Skipp has started every single one of them to know that he has adapted fantastically well to the second tier.
The Championship isn’t an easy division for senior players, let alone ones who haven’t even reached their 21st birthday yet.
The Tottenham academy product was brilliant once again on Saturday as Norwich thumped Stoke City 4-1 at Carrow Road.
And here’s how Norwich fans are reacting to his performance:
There’s going to be room at Tottenham next season in terms of midfield places.
The likes of Harry Winks and Moussa Sissoko will do well to stay in North London and with Eric Dier being a centre-back these days, it leaves only Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Tanguy Ndombele as midfielders who’ll definitely be there next term.
