Leeds United are blessed with a plethora of talented right-wingers, but Marcelo Bielsa may soon be tempted to hand a debut to one youngster coming through the ranks.
Indeed, even though the likes of Raphinha, Helder Costa and Ian Poveda are above him in the pecking order, Crysencio Summerville may soon get his chance.
Unfortunately for Leeds, both Raphinha and Helder Costa have been linked with moves away from the club, and that could leave the door open for Summerville to get a shot.
The Dutch winger is certainly talented enough, recently earning plaudits from a number of fans after a standout performance for the U23s.
For any Leeds fans who don’t know what Summerville is all about, perhaps the best description of his style comes from the man himself.
The winger admits that he’s not the most physically gifted, but he knows he has a high footballing IQ and his agility allows him to get the better of defenders.
“I often hear that there are doubts because of my physical condition, but when you are on the field, you are not concerned with that.
“There are often big defenders in front of me, I have to be smart about that. I know I’m agile and try to play with my mind,” Summerville said last year.

During that same interview, Summerville shared that his former manager gave him an interesting nickname due to how similar he is to Raheem Sterling:
“They call me ‘Summers’ or ‘Raz’, Raheem Sterling’s nickname. They think I look a bit like him in terms of style.”
An agile player in the mould of Raheem Sterling sounds like exactly what Bielsa wants from a winger, and if Raphinha and Costa are to depart the club this summer, then Summerville will surely be an option that Bielsa considers.
The 19-year-old looks to be a real talent, and while Leeds don’t need another right-winger at the moment, things could quickly change if these recent rumours come to fruition.
