To All the Boys: Always and Forever on Netflix

Based on the novel, Always and Forever, Lara Jean, Always and Forever is the third and final instalment in the To All the Boys trilogy.
For two films we’ve watched as Lara Jean and Peter’s relationship has grown and been challenged, but in To All the Boys: Always and Forever, the pair are set to face their biggest test yet.

Where was To All the Boys: Always and Forever filmed?
- To All the Boys: Always and Forever was filmed in Vancouver in Canada, New York in the US and Seoul in South Korea.
Despite being set in Portland, Oregon, To All the Boys has always filmed these scenes in the Canadian city of Vancouver, the most populous city in British Columbia.
However, where Always and Forever differs from its two predecessors is that the characters are whisked around the world to different locations.
The film begins in one of these, Seoul, the capital city of South Korea, where the Song-Covey family are spending their vacation.
In Seoul, we see a number of locations from the iconic Namsan Tower and Bongeuna Temple to the Seoullo 7017 Skypark and Cafe Yeonnam-dong 223-14, of the most Instagrammed locations in the city.
Meanwhile in New York, the characters see plenty of the city’s sights but the most notable is the Empire State Building which was lit up in the film’s signature colours for the rooftop party scene.
The scenes in Seoul were filmed last
Despite the film starting in the Korean city of Seoul, the scenes filmed there were actually the last to be shot.
After filming took place in the United States, the crew travelled to Seoul in late August 2019 in order to film the Song-Covey family vacation
To All the Boys star Lana Condor made sure to make the most of her trip by capturing a photo or two for Instagram.
To All the Boys: Always and Forever is available to stream now on Netflix after releasing on February 12th, 2021.
