Phil Hay has claimed on The Phil Hay Show that Marcelo Bielsa is very happy at Leeds United.
The Leeds correspondent for The Athletic has reported that people who know Bielsa have said that the Argentine is as happy at Elland Road now as he has been previously.
Bielsa is out of contract at Leeds at the end of the season, and no new deal is in place at the moment.
Hay said about Bielsa on The Phil Hay Show: “There’s no indication to say that he is thinking of going. He seems extremely content. People who know him say that he is very happy, as happy as he has been previously.”
Positive for Leeds United fans
Bielsa has been the Leeds head coach since the summer of 2018, and is already considered a legend by the fans, having guided the team to automatic promotion to the Premier League at the end of last season.

The Argentine has not signed long-term contracts at the Whites so far, and put pen to paper on only a one-year deal in September 2020, as reported by BBC Sport at the time.
Leeds chairman Andrea Radrizzani told The Times last month that he wants Bielsa to stay, and with the former Athletic Bilbao boss reportedly very happy at Elland Road, one suspects that the two parties will come to an agreement in due time.
