Sidnei Tavares and Vontae Daley-Campbell are in line to make their Leicester City debuts in tonight’s FA Cup clash with Brighton and Hove Albion after their involvement in first-team training, as reported by The Mercury.
Foxes boss Brendan Rodgers understands the need to shuffle his pack during this most gruelling of fixture schedules.
Ricardo Pereira, Hamza Choudhury, Kelechi Iheanacho and Ayoze Perez have been offered rare opportunities of late. All four started in Sunday’s 0-0 draw at Wolverhampton Wanderers.
And, with Leicester hosting Brighton in the FA Cup fifth round this evening, it feels unlikely a Foxes side fighting to secure a place in the Premier League’s top four will put out a full-strength line-up.
The Mercury claims Jamie Vardy and Wilfred Ndidi will both feature as they look to build match fitness after injuries.

There may also be opportunities for teenage pair Tavares and Daley-Campbell, with both called up to first-team training yesterday.
Tavares, a Portugal youth star and cousin of ex-Manchester United winger Nani, was described by Rodgers as an “outstanding” talent in pre-season.
He has since been linked with moves to Barcelona and Bayern Munich (The Sun).
Daley-Campbell, meanwhile, is impressing at right-back at reserve-team level and has been included in the match-day squad for two Premier League games in 2020/21.
