Manchester City are interested in signing Danny Ings from Southampton in the summer of 2021, according to The Athletic.
It has been reported that the Premier League leaders are considering making a move for former Liverpool striker Ings.
The England international is out of contract at Southampton in around 18 months’ time, and no new deal is in place at the moment, according to the report.

The 28-year-old striker joined Southampton on loan from Liverpool in the summer of 2018, and the move was made permanent in the summer of 2019.

According to WhoScored, the Englishman scored 22 goals and provided three assists in the league last season, and so far this campaign, he has scored seven goals and has given three assists in the Premier League.
