Gary Lineker has praised Leeds United striker Patrick Bamford on Twitter following his goal against Crystal Palace.

Bamford continued his good form with another goal, as Leeds got the better of Palace 2-0 at Elland Road in the Premier League this evening.

The former Chelsea and Nottingham Forest striker found the back of the net in the 52nd minute.

It was the 27-year-old striker’s 12th goal in the Premier League this season.

Former Tottenham Hotspur and England international striker Lineker was following the match, and he was pleased to see Bamford – who had a loan spell at Palace in 2015 – score his 100th goal.

Big player for Leeds United

The striker scores goals regularly, works hard for the team, and brings other attacking players into play.

The Englishman is showing all those who doubted him that he is good enough to play in the Premier League and achieve success in the top flight of English football as well.

The win against Palace means that Leeds are now 10th in the Premier League table with 32 points from 22 matches.
