Trevor Sinclair raved about Aston Villa right-back Matty Cash on talkSPORT (2:29pm, February 6, 2021) for his performance against Arsenal.
The former West Ham United winger said that Cash was the best player on the pitch at Villa Park, as the Villans got the better of Arsenal 1-0 at home in the Premier League.
Sinclair believes that the 23-year-old right-back was “exceptional” against Arsenal.
The former England international said on talkSPORT (2:29pm, February 6, 2021): “Both full-backs Matty Cash and Matt Target were excellent.
“They really stuck to their task and served the team really well with unselfish play. Didn’t come out of that shape, and I am going to give it (the Man of the Match award) to Matty Cash. I just thought he was exceptional today.”

How did Matty Cash play for Aston Villa?
Cash, who can also operate as a winger, was brilliant at right-back and kept Arsenal winger Nicolas Pepe quiet.
