Steve Morrow has told The Times that Arsenal striker Folarin Balogun has a lot of quality and ability.
The former Arsenal player, who spent a decade working on youth recruitment at the club, has spoken highly of the 19-year-old.
Balogun has been on the books of Arsenal since 2008 and is out of contract at the North London club at the end of the season.
Morrow told The Times: “I hope he can make the right decision and then figure out what’s best for him at this stage of his career.
“He’s got great physical qualities, can lead the line very well, holds the ball up very well, brings other players into play and is probably as good a finisher as Eddie. He’s got tremendous qualities, a great kid and a great family.”

Leaving Arsenal
Balogun is rated very highly at Arsenal, and was described by star striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as a “very, very talented” player who “works a lot and is a humble guy” in Football.London in November 2020, as covered by HITC Sport here,
However, it is hard to see the teenager get much playing time for the Gunners in the next season or two.
After all, the Gunners have a very good strike-force. Aubameyang is the number one striker, while Alexandre Lacazette is a very experienced player and Eddie Nketiah is progressing well.
It would make sense for the youngster to find a new club in the summer of 2021 if he wants to play in the first team on a regular basis.
