Tessica Brown had TikTok users all over the world worried after she revealed that her hair has been stuck to her head for a month on February 4th, 2021. Here’s what she did and why she did it…
Who is Tessica Brown?
Tessica Brown broke the internet in early February 2021 when she uploaded a video to TikTok detailing some issues she’d had with her hair.
By the looks of Tessica’s Instagram page, she has five children and resides in Louisiana, USA. Her sons have their own YouTube channel, Youngt9to Blitzem, with 1.38k subscribers.
Taking to TikTok, Tessica said: “Hey ya’ll, ya’ll that know me know my hair has been like this for about a month now. It’s not by choice, no, it’s not by choice.”
She goes on to explain that she ran out of Got2B hair spray and chose to use Gorilla Glue spray to set her hairstyle. Tessica adds: “Bad, bad, bad idea. My hair, it don’t move. I’ve washed my hair 15 times and it don’t move.”
Tessica, AKA Gorilla Glue girl, had her video go viral on TikTok in February 2021.
Within days she accumulated around 3 million likes on her video. Tessica, who can be found on TikTok under the name @im_d_ollady, has only posted seven videos to the social media site. However, she’s managed to hit the big time with her Gorilla Glue video.
At the end of her first video, she adds: “If you ever run out of Got2B hairspray, don’t ever use this unless you want your hair to be like that forever.”
Tessica has gone on to add more videos including one where she washes her hair to show that it doesn’t do anything. She also said that she put coconut and tea tree oil on her hair and still hasn’t had any results.
Tessica goes viral with Gorilla Glue hair
It’s safe to say that Tessica has the internet seriously invested in what happens next with her hair.
RHOA star Porsha Williams ‘re-grammed’ Tessica’s video on February 5th and captioned it: “…wonder if that lady still has a scalp. Someone said she may have to wait till it grows out… then cut it. Somebody has to help her y’all!”
Tessica has 187k followers on Instagram and 323k on TikTok. And that number is surely set to grow as more people want to find out whether she gets the glue out of her hair or not!
Tessica even gained the attention of a dermatologist who suggested that she use acetone to break down the glue or a product called Goo Gone.
