Some Tottenham fans on social media have been reacting to The Athletic’s report claiming that Daniel Levy doesn’t want to sack Jose Mourinho midway through a season, especially with the club still competing in three cup competitions.
It’s almost ludicrous to think that there is ongoing discussion about Mourinho’s future at Tottenham, but after three league losses in a row, the London outfit appear to be on the slide.
Earlier in the season, Spurs were being touted as title contenders, but those days seem a long way away at this point, and perhaps it’s no surprise to see that this dip in form has coincided with Harry Kane getting injured.
Predicting How DEADLINE Day Signings Will Do
With Tottenham now looking unlikely to challenge for the title, questions have been asked about Mourinho’s future, but The Athletic claim that Levy doesn’t plan on sacking him anytime soon, a decision that some Tottenham fans agree with.

Indeed, supporters on social media were pleased to hear that Levy doesn’t want to get rid of Mourinho, and we can understand why.
Sacking Mourinho would cost a lot of money, and if we’re being honest, there aren’t many managers on the market with a better CV than the Portuguese boss.
Whether or not Mourinho has Levy’s faith for the long-term remains to be seen, but for now, it seems as though the Spurs boss is safe.

Rightfully so, there’s literally no better alternatives rn who will want us, reassess during the summer and give whoever the manager is money this squad is horrendous https://t.co/pq95JhEnAB

Why would he sack him? The number of individual errors in our defence is embarrassing, its the same old problems with these defenders making constant mistakes again and again and the manager gets blamed.
