Celtic outcast Marian Shved was at it again last night.

The 23-year-old scored for loan club Mechelen in their 2-0 Belgian Cup win over RWDM.

Shved, who cost Celtic £2 million two years ago, cut inside his marker and drilled one home midway through the second half.

And in doing so, the Ukraine international now has three goals in his many games for the Belgian outfit.

The former Karpaty Lviv winger is something of an enigma because although there’s undeniably a lotl of ability there, he has only managed 15 minutes of Premiership action under Hoops boss Neil Lennon.

Here’s how some fans of the Parkhead club reacted to his goal last night:

It probably didn’t help that when he signed for Celtic, Brendan Rodgers was the manager and it’s interesting to wonder whether or not a superior coach like that would have been a tad more beneficial for his career in Scotland.

Shved joined in the winter of 2019 but arrived that summer, after Rodgers had already taken the Leicester City job.
