Leeds United are drawing up transfer plans for the summer already, with two signings firmly in mind, the Athletic say.
Phil Hay reports that Leeds are keen on a left-back and a defensive midfielder ahead of the next transfer window, but they were not tempted to push ahead and make a signing in January.
Leeds opted against adding a fresh face to their squad this month, as they feel their current squad is good enough to achieve their aim this season.
Leeds do think that bringing in a new left-back and more cover for Kalvin Phillips could be crucially at the end of the season, though.
In terms of names Romain Perraud is said to be the lead target to come in at left-back.
Reports in France have claimed that Perraud is on Leeds’ wishlist and Hay has now confirmed that interest is ‘genuine’.

The Stade Brest full-back has caught the eye in Ligue 1, and his attacking qualities could be very useful for Leeds next term.
Finding cover for Phillips, meanwhile, could be difficult – as his skill-set is such a unique one.
But Leeds already have some irons in the fire, with the long-term transfer plans becoming more clear.
