Bobby Zamora has said on Stadium Astro what he told Mark Noble about his new West Ham United teammate Jesse Lingard.
West Ham signed Lingard on loan from Premier League rivals Manchester United in the January transfer window.
The 28-year-old England international attacking midfielder is slated to stay at the London Stadium until the end of the season.
Former West Ham striker Zamora has shared what he has told Noble regarding Lingard, who can also operate as a winger.
Zamora said on Stadium Astro: “Obviously Noble is the club captain. I said, ‘Listen, if you start seeing him with these crazy videos, you need to pull him’.
“And I think somebody does need to almost put him back on track in terms of focusing on your football and your profession. He is a fantastic talent.
“We know that, we have seen that, but I would like to see a lot more of him and I would like to see him shine more.”
Good signing for West Ham United?
Lingard has not been able to make a huge impact at United in recent times, but the 28-year-old has shown what he is capable of in the Premier League over the years.
The England international is a good signing for West Ham and will give manager David Moyes a very good option.
Moyes worked with the 28-year-old when he was the manager of United, and the former Everton boss could bring the best out of him.
The Hammers are in the running for the Champions League places in the Premier League, and Lingard could them an edge given his experience.
