Leeds United have rejected a bid from Championship high flyers for Swansea City for Sam Greenwood, Sky have said in their live transfer blog (12:22).
Greenwood joined Leeds from Arsenal in the summer, but he is yet to make a Premier League appearance.
The youngster has scored prolifically at development squad level, though, and Swansea saw plenty of potential in him.
Steve Cooper’s side have brought in a huge number of players on loan this season and provided them with a platform to impress.
But Leeds wanted to keep Greenwood around, and turned down their advances.

Whether that indicates that Marcelo Bielsa sees the teenager as having a part to play in the first-team remains to be seen.
Leeds have lined up this season with Patrick Bamford up-front and Tyler Roberts in reserve, but if injury does strike, then Greenwood may have to be called upon at some stage.
