Olivier Ntcham is reportedly on his way out of Celtic.

The Frenchman has failed to maintain a place in Neil Lennon’s starting XI this season, making 14 appearances as his side fell 23 points behind Rangers in the title race.

Ntcham has enjoyed his share of highs since being brought to the club from Manchester City by Brendan Rodgers in 2017, winning eight trophies and scoring a memorable last-gasp winner against Lazio in the Europa League.

Now it appears he will be moving on before the window closes at midnight.

French outlet RMC Sport report that Marseille have made an offer to Celtic for the 24-year-old. The deal would see the Ligue 1 side bring Ntcham in on loan with an option to buy.

Record Sport state that Celtic could make “close to £9m” on the player if a permanent move is agreed in the summer.

The report states that Marseille are “currently negotiating to complete the operation before the end of the transfer window on Monday”.

Ntcham has also been linked with a move to Newcastle United.

Sky Sports reported on Sunday that the Premier League club had made an enquiry about bringing him in on loan.
