According to CBS Sports, Arsenal winger Reiss Nelson is wanted by German sides Hoffenheim and Wolfsburg ahead of Monday’s transfer deadline.

Nelson is highly rated by many Arsenal fans, but Mikel Arteta seemingly doesn’t feel quite the same way about him just yet.

The 21-year-old has remarkably made just two Premier League appearances this season, both as a substitute and amounting to just 70 minutes of action.

He has started just five games in all competitions, and it seems that Arteta is now willing to loan Nelson out until the end of the season.

It’s now suggested that Hoffenheim would like to re-sign Nelson; they took him on loan for the 2018-19 season, and he showed promise in Germany.

Nelson hit seven goals in 23 Bundesliga games for Hoffenheim, and rejoining the club whilst linking up with Ryan Sessegnon could be very appealing.

Wolfsburg are keen too though, with Nelson facing up to sitting on the sidelines for the rest of the season if he doesn’t land a move away tomorrow.

There is still plenty of time for Nelson to become an Arsenal star, but he needs games – and a move to Germany could provide him with the football he needs.
