Leicester City star James Maddison has responded to Jack Grealish’s post on Instagram following the win for Aston Villa against Southampton on Saturday.
Villa got the better of Southampton 1-0 away from home at St. Mary’s Stadium in the Premier League last night.
Ross Barkley, on loan from Chelsea, scored the only goal of the match in the 41st minute.
It was England international attacking midfielder Grealish who provided the assist for the goal.
According to WhoScored, the 25-year-old, who can also operate as a winger, has now scored six goals and provided nine assists in 19 Premier League games for Villa this season.
Grealish has revelled in the win for Villa on Instagram, and his England international teammate Maddison has responded to his post.
Maddison himself is a very creative midfielder who is a key figure in the current Leicester team and is only 24 years of age.
According to WhoScored, Maddison has made 13 starts and five substitute appearances in the Premier League for Leicester so far this season, scoring six goals and providing three assists in the process.
The attacking midfielder also scored six goals and provided three assists in the league last season, according to WhoScored.
