West Ham United manager David Moyes joked on Sky Sports News (2pm, January 30, 2021) that he would love to sign Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane and Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford.
While suggesting that he would like to sign a new striker before the January transfer window closes on Monday, Moyes joked that Kane and Rashford are welcome at West Ham.
The Hammers could do with a new striker following the departure of Sebastien Haller to Ajax earlier this month.
Michail Antonio is playing upfront at the moment, but the former Sheffield Wednesday and Nottingham Forest star is a winger by trade.
The Sun has reported interest in Bournemouth striker Joshua King from the Hammers.
Moyes joked on Sky Sports News (2pm, January 30, 2021): “Yeah, if Harry Kane was available, I would love him. Get me Rashford. Any of them available and want to join, I am here. You know, pick up the phone to me anytime.”
Going strong
Kane and Rashford are world-class attacking players, and it is very unlikely that the Tottenham ace and the United star will move to West Ham anytime soon.
The Hammers are doing well without such big-name players in their squad at the moment. The London club are fifth in the Premier League table with 35 points from 20 matches.
West Ham will take on Liverpool at the London Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday.
