Some Liverpool fans have praised Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tanguy Ndombele on Twitter for his performance against Jurgen Klopp’s side at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Ndombele was in action for Tottenham in their Premier League game against Liverpool at home on Thursday evening.
The 24-year-old midfielder played well for the North London club, but he could not prevent his side from suffering a 3-1 defeat.
The France international has been playing well for Spurs this season, and his display against the defending Premier League champions was very encouraging.
Ndombele played well in the first half and imposed himself on the game, getting the better of Thiago in the middle of the park.
Although the 24-year-old was not quite at his best in the second period, he was one of the few Spurs players who looked good overall on the night.
According to WhoScored, the Frenchman had a pass accuracy of 85%, won two headers, took 75 touches, attempted three dribbles, and made one tackle and one clearance.
Some Liverpool fans were impressed by the display produced by Ndombele for Tottenham against the Reds and have raved about him on Twitter.
