While the likes of Amazon Prime Video and Netflix have long been considered essential by TV and movie fans, Disney+ has swiftly become a favourite streaming service for many.

Launched in November 2019, audiences were treated to a diverse array of content, including The Simpsons, classic Disney efforts, Marvel blockbusters and Star Wars titles.

Such popular shows as The Mandalorian and movies like Pixar’s Soul have helped boost the service’s popularity and the announcement of their latest acquisition has subscribers over the moon.

They recently announced the arrival of their new Star channel, which means lots more TV shows and films are available, one of which is Ugly Betty.

  • All four seasons of Ugly Betty are available on the Disney+ Star channel from Tuesday, February 23rd 2021.

The Independent includes that Ugly Betty is joined by the addition of 276 films and 74 TV shows.

As for the price, Star is included with your Disney+ subscription at no extra cost.

Looking back, Silvio Horta’s comedy series aired from 2006 to 2010 and starred America Ferrera as the titular Betty, a young woman who begins working at a prestigious fashion magazine.

Eric Mabius, Alan Dale, Tony Plana, Ana Ortiz and many more starred and the combination of writing, style and performances have led Ugly Betty to become something of a cult favourite over the years.

As we’ve mentioned, there are plenty more titles besides Ugly Betty, so let’s consider some of the most exciting to land on the platform.
