Carlo Ancelotti has told Everton’s official website that Thierry Small and Tyler Onyango have both impressed him in first-team training.
The pair both made their Everton debuts at the weekend, as they played five minutes against Sheffield Wednesday in the FA Cup.
And Ancelotti says that that the teenaged duo have both looked the part in training.
“We knew before the match that Thierry could become Everton’s youngest player and wanted him to have this record,” Ancelotti said.
“Tyler is another good boy, with strength and ability.
“They have both done really well training with us, showing top attitudes and the desire to listen and learn.
“The other players respect what Thierry and Tyler are doing and were really excited to share this moment with them at the weekend.”

Small and Onyango may find further first-team chances at Everton hard to come by this season.
However, their promise and progress in senior training has to be considered as an exciting sign for the future.
Onyango is a midfielder, who has been capped up to England under-17 level, while Small plays at left-back.
The pair are part of an exciting crop of Everton youngsters, including Anthony Gordon, who has made an impact in the first-team.
