According to the Daily Mail, Real Madrid playmaker Martin Odegaard spent Monday at Arsenal’s London Colney training ground.
It’s claimed that the Norwegian has already the Gunners to put the finishing touches to his move to join Mikel Arteta’s men.
Arsenal will allegedly confirm the deal today, with Odegaard joining on loan until the end of the season.
Odegaard, 22, has only managed 232 minutes of league action across seven games, whilst he has only made two Champions League appearances.
Zinedine Zidane seemingly doesn’t fancy Odegaard right now, and that means he will now head to join Arsenal until the summer.
Who knows, maybe Arsenal can secure Odegaard on a permanent basis, as the lack of first-team pathway at Real is surely a concern for the former Stromsgodset wonderkid.

Odegaard was outstanding for Arteta’s former club Real Sociedad last season, recording seven goals and nine assists whilst playing as a number 10 or in from the right flank.
Emile Smith Rowe has been superb of late, but the addition of Odegaard will help ease the creative burden whilst giving Arsenal greater depth going forward – at least until the summer.
