According to The Sun, Arsenal want to sign Stoke City defender Nathan Collins – but could miss out to Burnley.
It’s claimed that Arsenal have ‘set their sights’ on signing Collins, believing that he can be a future star in their first team.
However, Arsenal may not have the cash to secure a £10million deal for Collins right now, and that means Burnley are attempting to swoop in.

Collins, 19, has allegedly leapfrogged Nottingham Forest ace Joe Worrall in Burnley’s transfer wish list as Sean Dyche seeks another centre back.
The Clarets seemingly feel that James Tarkowski will leave at some point soon, and ideally want to bring in Collins as his successor.

Burnley’s new American owners would be fans of such a move, and a bid could go in soon as Burnley look to fend off Arsenal.
The Irish talent has made 24 first-team appearances this season, and is a huge figure standing at 6ft 4in tall.
Arsenal had success with signing a couple of Stoke defenders many years ago in Lee Dixon and Steve Bould, but they may not have the chance to see if Collins can follow in their footsteps if Burnley swoop.
