According to Mundo Deportivo, the agent of Emiliano Buendia will travel to London in the coming weeks to hold talks with Arsenal.
It has been reported that Arsenal are interested in signing Buendia from Championship club Norwich City.
With Norwich aiming to finish in the top two of the Championship table this season, the Canaries are unlikely to sell Buendia in the January transfer window.
Moreover, the Gunners are on the verge of signing Martin Odegaard on loan from Real Madrid, according to AS.
With the emergence of Emile Smith Rowe and the reportedly imminent arrival of Norwegian attacking midfielder Odegaard, there is really no need for Arsenal to bring in another player for that position.
It would make sense for the Gunners to look into the possibility of bringing Buendia to the Emirates Stadium in the summer of 2021.
According to WhoScored, the 24-year-old has scored seven goals and provided six assists in 21 Championship games for Norwich so far this season.
