Real Madrid fans aren’t best pleased over reports that Martin Odegaard could join Arsenal.

According to multiple sources, including David Ornstein, Arsenal are on course to sign the playmaker on loan until the end of the season.

The deal should go through in the near future, but it is fair to say that Madrid fans aren’t best pleased about it.

They say that Zinedine Zidane should have given the 21-year-old more a chance and they expect him to thrive with Arsenal.

The Madrid reaction will only enhance feelings of excitement among Arsenal fans about Odegaard’s impending arrival.

The Norwegian appears to be a potentially excellent addition to their squad, and given their budgetary constraints, his signing should be heralded.

Odegaard will be in immediate competition with the impressive youngster Emile Smith Rowe for a spot in Arsenal’s team.

If Odegaard’s transfer is completed in the next few days as expected, his debut could come against Southampton in the Premier League on Tuesday evening.
