According to Marca, Arsenal loanee Daniel Ceballos does not think that he has a future at Real Madrid under head coach Zinedine Zidane.

Ceballos spent the 2019-20 campaign on loan at Arsenal from Madrid, and returned to the Gunners on loan for the 2020-21 campaign.

Spanish publication Marca has claimed that the 24-year-old Spain international midfielder ‘believes’ that his chance of succeeding at Madrid under Zidane is ‘minimal’.

No future at Real Madrid?

Ceballos will have been away from Madrid for two years at the end of the season, and it is quite a long time in football.

Zidane clearly thinks that he can do without the 24-year-old, which is why he has not been part of his plans for the past two seasons.

It would make sense for Ceballos to find a new club on a permanent basis in the summer of 2021.

It will be interesting to see if Arsenal approach Madrid to sign Ceballos on a permanent contract.

According to WhoScored, the 24-year-old made 18 starts and six substitute appearances in the Premier League last season, and has made 10 starts and six substitute appearances in the league for Arsenal so far this campaign.
