Riverdale fans can rejoice, as season five is finally out now which means you can catch up with Archie, Jughead, Betty and Veronica.
Season four ended with a shock kiss between Betty and Archie, and it appears that the secret will finally be revealed at the senior prom.
There is plenty to expect in season five, and luckily for Riverdale fans, you can watch the first episode now on the CW and Netflix.
How many episodes in Riverdale season five?
The CW has not yet confirmed an episode count for season 5, but previous season of the show have had 22 episodes, so it could be safe to assume season 5 will be the same.
Season 4 only consisted of 19 episodes, due to Covid-19, so the new series will also feature the remaining episodes from the previous season which weren’t completed.

Riverdale season 5 hops seven years into the future, which means fans will get to see what the characters have done with their lives up to that point.
Lilli Reinhart said: “I get to play someone who’s my age now and not a teenager. I’m going up in the world… I don’t want to be 30 playing an 18 year old.”

The first episode of Riverdale is out now on the CW and Netflix.
Future episodes will continue to be released weekly, with each episode being released on Netflix UK the day after it debuts on the CW.
