Andy Cole raved about reported Leeds United target and Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Adama Traore on talkSPORT (2:39pm, January 17, 2021).

The former Manchester United striker watched Traore in action for Wolves in their Premier League game against West Bromwich Albion at the weekend.

Cole said that it looked as though the former Barcelona and Aston Villa winger is back to his old self.

The Englishman was also impressed by the pace of Traore, who is wanted by Leeds in the January transfer window, according to Eurosport and Sport.

Cole said about Traore on talkSPORT (2:39pm, January 17, 2021): “He looks like he is getting back to his old self. He gets in good positions, he gets his head up and look to pick people out, which is good. His pace is an absolute joke.”

Would Adama Traore make Leeds United better?

Leeds Director of Football Victor Orta knows Traore from their time at Middlesbrough, and, according to Eurosport, he is the one who is driving the Whites’ interest in him.

The winger is very fast and knows the Premier League inside out, and given that he is only 24 years of age, there is potential for him to get better.

Although Leeds have Jack Harrison, Helder Costa, Raphinha and Rodrigo to play out wide, Traore would make head coach Marcelo Bielsa’s squad better and would give him another good option.

However, it is unlikely that Wolves would be willing to sell an important player such as Traore in the middle of the season.
