Sao Paulo striker Brenner has joined up with David Luiz’s agent amid reports suggesting Arsenal are keen on the Samba starlet, as reported by Yahoo.
For Sao Paulo fans, Giuliano Bertolucci’s name is one they would prefer to hear a lot less often.
After all, it was Bertolucci who took Oscar away to Chelsea a decade ago. One of the most influential agents in South America was also at the heart of deals that saw Ajax winger David Neres and Real Madrid enforcer Casemiro leave Sao Paulo too – and that’s without mentioning Lyanco, Henrique, Diogo, Lucas Piazon and many more (Arq Tricolor).

And, with reports claiming Brenner has now inked his name in Bertolucci’s impressive contacts book, it may be only a matter of time before one of Brazil’s most exciting young forwards is heading to Europe too.
Calciomercato claims Juventus, AC Milan, Arsenal and Neres’s Ajax are all interested in the lethal 20-year-old marksman.

What’s more, Brenner has an Italian passport – which should make it easier for a club on the other side of the Atlantic to agree a deal.
Interestingly, Bertolucci already represents one Arsenal player – veteran defender David Luiz – and is a former business partner of Kia Joorabchian, the super-agent who took Willian to the Emirates last summer.
Sao Paulo expect to keep hold of Brenner this month as financial uncertainty surrounds some of Europe’s biggest clubs. However, it is said they would consider an offer in the region of £23 milion.
Brenner has scored 17 goals in 30 games this season.
