Gary Neville has changed his mind about who will win the Premier League this season after Liverpool’s 0-0 draw with Manchester United.

Speaking to his self-titled podcast, Neville opened up about how he has always backed Liverpool to win the league this season.

However, he now feels that Manchester City are the most likely side to come out on top in May.

“At this moment I’ve said Liverpool all season, I said Liverpool at the start of the season, but I would transfer it to City now,” he said.

“Liverpool won’t get Van Dijk quickly and they just look like things aren’t quite right.”

Liverpool certainly aren’t showing the form of champions at this moment in time, as their injury problems are really starting to show.

Jurgen Klopp’s side are struggling for rhythm and momentum, and they haven’t even scored in their last three Premier League outings.

Liverpool have now slipped down into fourth place in the Premier League table, and concerns are rising around Anfield.

City, meanwhile, really appear to be hitting their top form, after a 4-0 win over Crystal Palace last night.

Pep Guardiola’s men now occupy second spot in the table and have a game in hand over the teams around them.
