According to Sport.fr in France, West Ham United are expected to receive a response from Stade de Reims over Boulaye Dia within a matter of hours.
The Hammers are in the market for a new striker having sold Sebastien Haller to Ajax earlier this month, with support needed for Michail Antonio.
One of the main names linked is Reims striker Dia, with West Ham willing to offer around €10million (£8.9million) plus add-ons.

Dia, 24, has been in superb form in Ligue 1 this season, scoring 12 goals in 17 games to make himself a wanted man.
Other Premier League clubs fancy Dia too, but West Ham are now pushing to make him their replacement for Haller.
Haller’s lack of mobility was an issue at times for West Ham, and Dia can provide a little more of a threat in behind whilst still being adept with his back to goal.
West Ham are around £4.5million away from reaching Reims’ asking price, and today could be a key day in the pursuit of the Senegal attacker.
