Inter Milan attacking midfielder Christian Eriksen wants to return to Tottenham Hotspur in the January transfer window, according to Sky Sports.
It has been reported that Inter have made Eriksen available for transfer and are willing to let him leave on loan for the rest of the season.
The report has added that there have been no formal talks between Inter and Tottenham over the transfer of the 28-year-old – who was described as “world class” by his Denmark international teammate and Leicester City goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel in Football Paradise in November 2017.
Back to Tottenham Hotspur?
Eriksen joined Inter from Tottenham in January 2020 and has struggled to make a huge impact at the Italian club.
According to Sky Sports, the Denmark international has played only 13 times in all competitions for Antonio Conte’s side so far this season.
Tottenham are doing well without Eriksen at the moment, but the Dane knows the club well and would add more creativity to the team.
With Spurs aiming to win the Premier League title this season, bringing back a player who was successful at the club on a loan deal would not be a bad idea.
