Paul Ince has told Sky Sports that he will be wearing his ‘West Ham scarf’ as Liverpool and Manchester United lock horns in the Premier League.
In the Premier League era, only two players have donned the shirts of Liverpool and Manchester United – Ince himself and Michael Owen.
Whilst Owen is still a marmite-like figure on both sides, it could be argued that Ince is more well-liked for what he did on the Anfield and Old Trafford pitch.
Nonetheless, ahead of today’s game, Ince was asked what scarf he will be wearing or whether he will be putting on the controversial half-and-half scarf.
“I will probably wear my West Ham scarf,” joked the East London-born man. “Just don’t stay on the same side.”

This is a mouthwatering affair given that it is a top-of-the-table clash and a lot is on the line.
Not only that, there are going to be some top-class performers on show, including the likes of Thiago, Mo Salah, Bruno Fernandes, Paul Pogba, Sadio Mane and Marcus Rashford.
So, it all is set up to finish 0-0 with only two shots on target.
