Finding Alice is the latest addition to ITV’s list of acclaimed TV dramas. But where was it filmed?

The series follows recently-bereaved Alice Dillon (Keeley Hawes) as she adapts to life after the death of her husband Harry (Jason Merrells). Harry fell down the stairs of their new “smart house”, one he had designed himself.

With the house playing a crucial role in Finding Alice – it almost becomes a character itself – many viewers inevitably have questions about where they shot the series. Find out about where Finding Alice was filmed here.

Finding Alice: Smart House Location

If you were wondering if the hi-tech house in Finding Alice is real or not, well, it is… partly.

The exteriors shots of the Finding Alice house were filmed on the outskirts of Farnham, Surrey. However, the interior of the house was shot on a film set. The Finding Alice team constructed the “smart house” at West London Film Studios.

It is unconfirmed whether the exterior shots of the house were constructed for the series, or whether the house is a real property.
